General Information

Guimar is an import- and distribution company which was incorporated in 1984 and commenced full operation in 1986 with the sales and distribution of consumer products. Since then, Guimar has grown to become a strong firm with a total of 97 employees divided between two divisions supplying food- and non- food consumer products an building and construction products and services.

With Suriname being a developing country, having a population of only ±500.000 and Guimar Being a long-term, dependable and respectable company we at Guimar yearly contribute to the less fortunate and less developed. Schools, programs, events and houses for the elderly, children and disabled are often part of the donation.
